(United-States) AJWS is an independent not-for-profit organization founded in 1985 to help alleviate poverty, hunger and disease among the people of the world regardless of race, religion or nationality. AJWS has been one of the major donors to Pro-Link for the past six years, supporting the Hohoe project. Our interventions have reached over 7,000 communities, 800 stepping stones groups (adolescent and adult male and female groups) in 10 communities. The project has seen the emergence of 10 community based organizations as a result of the provision of Agro-Processing equipment. Currently capacity building of beneficiaries in business plans development, effective leadership, conflict management, micro enterprise management and needs assessment is ongoing.
