
ALCO was created by five countries namely Cote D'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria to increase support services in HIV/AIDS along the Abidjan-Lagos transport Corridor. This project is funded by World Bank and Global Fund for Malaria, HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis to ensure prevention against HIV/AIDS and treatment and care in an environment that is conducive to the transmission of HIV/AIDS. The project has two main objectives, one of which is to increase along the Corridor access to prevention services related AIDS and HIV/AIDS. Pro-link receives funding from ALCO and is offering care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS in Aflao which is a border town in the Volta Region.
